Aloha I’m Kate Sommers. I’ve always had a love for the ocean, looking out at it, just dipping my toes in or swimming with dolphins and turtles. I’ve lived in Hawaii most of my adult life and have traveled to many beautiful places all over the world. I’m a published author who likes to write fun uplifting things. I also taught writing at an after school program on Oahu and have worked as a background extra on the television shows Off The Map, Last Resort & Hawaii Five-O.
I first became interested in sailing at 18 years old , I grew up near the beach in Southern California and crewed for Hobie Cat races. The people I met in the sailing community were so fun, friendly and down to earth, I felt naturally comfortable around them. Becoming a Yacht Charter Broker feels very natural and in the flow with what I love and enjoy. I’m looking forward to meeting you and helping to make some of your dreams come true and creating fun life memories out on the water! – Kate
